Cwmdare Voices (ODA) was founded in June 2012. We are a not-for-profit community choir situated in Cwmdare, a village close to Aberdare, in the Cynon Valley. We have approx. 40 members ranging from School Teachers to retired ex Miners, with ages between late twenties up to early seventies. We practise every Tuesday at Cwmdare Club between 7-9pm.

The choir is now in its eleventh year and we are steadily growing from strength to strength attracting new members on a regular basis with our friendly approach and great leadership. In January 2015 Dr Mike Thomas strengthened our choir with his vast experience and expertise as a Musical Director accompanied by our talented pianists Andrew Chinnock and Gwilym Jones.

Every member of Cwmdare Voices strongly believes in keeping the tradition of the male voice choir alive in our Welsh villages and Towns, and will endeavour to do so.
